All right, team! For those of you that have printed off the project, how did you go about it? I love having my favourite fanfictions in "real book" format thanks to Cafepress's book printing, but the images that are so essential in SBP make that more difficult. Making the images small enough to fit in a 5x7ish book distorts them so much even on my computer that I haven't even tried that route for this particular fic. Years ago I printed off things on 8.5x11 pages and then kept them in a binder, but that is hardly practical for taking along to read during a lunch break.

So. Any ideas? Much appreciated if someone sees something obvious I'm missing ^_^

grades, first semester of college! i believe that makes my starting gpa a 3.15. that'll go up later, for sure. :D :D i'm just glad history of art was B+, i missed a lot of class and that's an exciting triumph, though it kills me wondering how close i was to A-... comparative literature throws me off, however, and when my final essay gets sent back i'm calculating the grade myself to check for a discrepancy; i think she might have accidentally counted excuses absences as unexcused. astronomy i got B-, shouldn't have taken it pass/not-pass. :| now it just looks unimpressive on my transcript.

... and lol @ not passing yoga oops.

nonetheless, yaaaaay 3.15!

I couldn't care less about Christmas itself, but this year's Yuletide was all kinds of exciting!

My Yulegoat wrote me a time to refrain from embracing, a lovely Kings futurefic featuring pining!Jack and jaded!David—what more could I possibly want? Thank you so much, mystery author! ♥

I have a bazillion windows open with all the fics and links I ignored over the past few days while hiding under my Yuletide-shaped rock—but I'm I won't get to touch them any time soon because NEW DOCTOR WHO OMG.

While (VERY IMPATIENTLY) waiting for my download to finish, I shall read more Yuletide fics. I doubt I'll post recs here on LJ, but if you have Twitter, check out @ficrecs; I'll probably update it pretty frequently over the next few days!

In an attempt to feel more festive, I've just watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, that Simpsons episode with Santa's Little Helper and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It almost worked! I'm sure I'll be around tomorrow to flail about Doctor Who, since our relatives actually aren't visiting until January, but in the meantime:

OMG so I had a very strong urge to draw Merlin art! Lucikly I had some good prompts. :D From derryere's prompt: Arthur (drunkenly!) decides he wants a Christmas tree in his room and it's the middle of the night and there's just no way, NO WAY, so, being the rational dude that he is, he makes Merlin wrap himself in a green curtain and stand by the fireplace as he decorates him. With, like, pine cones. And glitter! MEDIEVAL GLITTER. And his crown, maybe, if he's really that far gone. Okay I forgot the medieval glitter :( :( :(

hello, everyone. abbreviated updates:

+ rotary last weekend; helped decide if new exchange students made it, and where they're going... i felt powerful... and i chilled with other 'rebound' exchange students from tulare, yay... plus my best friend in rotary, from when i was an 'outbound' exchange student and she was an 'inbound' exchange student in '07-'08, was visiting from norway and slept here one night :D two years apart but nothing had changed
+ argument with nicole; right when i got back, over me using her stuff - which i had thought she allowed - for ~eighteen hours i was devastated but everything got resolved in the morning, yay for actually liking each other, i'll miss her as roommate next year (but we're still together in january-may!)
+ finals week; aka the end of my FIRST SEMESTER and it was excruciating but over now... waiting on grades, like most people, still... first ~college transcript~, and i'm dying to know what my gpa shall be
+ break has started; i've done nothing except watch television [battlestar galactica, the l word, dollhouse] and surf the internetz... and gain weight :| this cannot go on, i have friends to see and books to read and exercise to... do!

so, the real purpose of my entry is: does anyone know of free yoga instruction videos available online: torrent, download, stream, whatever? i'd like to start before february, when my classes begin. any links you've got would be highly appreciated! :)

This community just recently hit 3000 watchers (!!!!!!!! HOW HAVE SO MANY OF YOU STUCK WITH ME FOR SO LONG THROUGH SEVERAL RIDICULOUS FANDOMS? ILU :( ♥♥♥) and I'm really in the holiday spirit right now, SO. I want to draw some holiday-themed art, but have no idea what to draw! :(

I want to try to draw 3 pieces, each from a different fandom hopefully, so what I'm looking for are prompts!

Help me out dear watchers, and leave me a fandom, pairing, and holiday-themed prompt!

This won't really be a first-come first-served thing, as I'm kind of just going to go with what inspires me. It can be as clean or as smutty as you want it to be. >:D I will try to get at least three drawings done by New Year's. *crosses fingers* flist, I'm not giving up on those prompts from several months ago, btw. I have those bookmarked for future inspiration. ♥
